The Dark Lover -Part 4-It took the vehicles more than an hour to reach the bridge, though the ladies had heard them coming long before that.
When they judged their targets to be about ten minutes away, Dezzy had Emeris connect them. It was an… interesting, experience to say the least.
Though Emeris was comfortable with it, neither Dezzy or Veldra were used to brushing minds with another. As often as they were mentally contacted by Emeris, it was an entirely different feeling.

The Dark Lover -Part 3-Dezzy triple-checked her armor as she waited, it never hurt to be sure in this business
A soft footstep behind her caught her attention, making her turn around slowly to stare blankly at the drow behind her. The drowess had slipped into similar body armor to what Dezzy wore, a near solid body-suit of Kevlar and hardened ceramic.
Grudgingly, Dezzy had to admit that Veldra was stealthy, if only to herself. To get that close to Dezzy undetected was no small feat.
“You’re early… I’m surprised…” Dezzy smirked at her drow companion.

The Dark Lover -Part 2-Barely restraining her anger, Dezzy strode down the halls. She could barely believe that Emeris, of all people, would fall for that blasted drow’s charms!
The drow was a slut! It wasn’t an insult, it was fact! Almost all drow were like that, a great lay but horrible in relationships. Emeris himself had said that the drow had become a race genetically predisposed to evil, not simply culturally so. They were backstabbers, deceivers, and harlots by nature. Usually, Dezzy got along swimmingly with the dark elves, but usually they left her friends alone!

The Dark Lover -Part 1-Her dark skin was soft beneath his lips, just as it always was.
Silken fingers entwined with his hair as she reached back around him, her form pressing against him gently as she smiled. But it was her soft sigh that signaled the end of conscious thought and the beginning of sensation.

Consciousness returned to him in a slow rush, the last vestiges of sleep fading quickly as light filtered in through the window beside his bed. A small purr of contentment escaping him as the soft warmth of the sun’s light played along his bare skin.

Because I'm bored and overthink things

There's been somethings that have been bothering me as I read Naruto fanfiction. A big one is treating Gai, Rock Lee's sensei, like he's an idiot.
Yeah, the guy in green spandex, orange leg warmers, and a bowl cut, the one who has shojou effects and stuff, yeah, that guy.
He's not an idiot.
Stop treating him like that.
He's a JOUNIN. A JOUNIN! Yeah, that ninja rank right beneath Kage, you now, that one? He's one of those. He fights Kisame, irritates the crap out of him, makes innane comments, makes a surprisingly insightful comment when you think about it, and then his students get trapped.
Now he's serious.
He pulls out the nun-chucks, and just twirling them around is enough to create a shockwave. He's able to stop a full-force kick BEFORE hitting Kisame's sword and before the spikes shoot out of the wrappings. Then he releases six celestial gates, you know, those things that kill you if you use them, he releases six of them by thinking about it for a second then kicks the shit out of Kisame like Lee did to Gaara.
That's badass, but I'll admit it isn't smart.

Here's the thing, there's no way in hell they'd make Gai a jounin if he was really an idiot, they're a military force of NINJA'S damnit! Bad ninja's, barely ninja's as we know them, kay, sure, but they're still ninja's! There's NO way he's as stupid as he comes across!

I mean come on! Kakashi, one of the most elite Jounin in the village, reads PORN in public, is chronically late and makes lame ass excuses about WHY he's late! And he's probably in the top 5 konoha ninja's at ANY time currently covered! He's faking being a dumbass, something that Gai has to be doing on at least SOME level. There's also the fact that Gai is consistently behind in their contests by one game. One. Seriously think about that for a minute.
You don't become a jounin by being really good at punching things. That's what special jounin are for damnit!

So seriously, treat the guy with some respect! He acts like a big lug and probably loves it! But he's still an absurdly badass and intelligent ninja damnit!

Meh, that's enough for now... I'll probably do another rant when I feel like it...
